DINK Entertainment presents, "Arthur! A Celebration of Life."
New York City, NY (January 28, 2006) DINK Entertainment pays tribute to the incomparable
Arthur Ashe as a salute to the African-American legends of the sports world and beyond.
Joseph H. James, Jr., producer, director, and actor portrays a strong resemblance of Arthur Ashe.
At a very young age, Mr. Ashe influenced James both on and off the tennis court to pursue
greatness. More than twenty years later James, the Hampton Roads, VA native pays tribute to
the legacy of Arthur Ashe. Joseph H. James, Jr. wrote, directed, produced as well as starred as
the Hall of Famed tennis great, author, philanthropist, and activist in the docudrama, “Arthur! A
Celebration of Life.” Mr. James reinvented his hero’s trials and tribulations on screen and leaves
viewers amazed. The film celebrates Ashe’s life and achievements from childhood to his
unfortunate passing. (more)
