 Joseph H. James, Jr. is a multitalented producer, director, writer and actor. He attended the Virginia Conservatory in Norfolk, Virginia. His
acting career began upon landing a two-year contract on the Family Channel soap opera "Another Life." His acting prowess led to a recurring role on the Emmy Award winning children's show "Sesame Street" as Gordon's father. Mr. James was the spokesperson for Direct-TV and the show host for
Microsoft's game "The Brain." He is also an accomplished stage actor and has appeared in off-Broadway productions from top playwrights such as Kia Corthron and Ned Eisenberg. In addition, James has done voiceovers as a looping actor for over two dozen movies.
The continued success of Mr. James has allowed him to pay tribute to his childhood hero, tennis legend and world activist Arthur Ashe. James decided to create an eighty-minute docudrama film entitled "Arthur! A Celebration of Life." He wrote, produced, directed and personally
captured the likeness of Arthur Ashe as the lead actor in the film. Mr. James won the YOUnity Guild Award for best producer, director and actor in a docudrama for the project. He was also chosen by Empire Who's Who amongst executives and professionals for 2006. The docudrama film marked
the beginning of DINK Entertainment. James founded DINK in order to help facilitate his creative efforts and currently is the Chief Executive Officer. The New York City based production company specializes in quality films. The Company has an unreleased soundtrack for "Arthur! A
Celebration of Life," which is led by nine-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys. DINK also has several projects in development including "Soul Baby" and "The Truest of Friends."
Mr. James has written a novel for both "Soul Baby" and "The Truest of Friends." In addition, James has been inspired by Alicia Keys to continue his songwriting after he wrote a song for her entitled "Oh No Boy." He has a library of songs waiting to be published. Mr. James has both business savvy and amazing creativity. He has shown resolve in all of his accomplishments thus far in the world of entertainment. He is very excited about his career and the future of DINK.
